That’s why we rely on a modern, digital counterfeit protection system that gives you as a customer the opportunity to check the authenticity of our products yourself – simply, quickly and securely.

How does it work?
Each oil is marked with an individual security code. The QR code on the lid is the security verification. Scanning it with a smartphone gives you direct feedback on authenticity – simple, fast and secure.

1. Visual anomalies
Sometimes abnormalities can also be detected without a scan. For example, if the packaging or label is unusual. Missing or damaged safety features are also possible.
In such cases, our advice is: trust your impression. If something is wrong, let us know. Use our registration form and fill it out. This can be found further down the page. We will then review the case.
2. Scan the QR code
Good to know: Not every scan gives a clear result immediately. Are you being shown a fake? Don’t panic: this may be due to an error. In certain cases, the system simply thinks that it is a counterfeit. The following steps should be followed:
- Check whether a QR code is present
- Check whether the QR code is damaged (if so, the serial number of the product can also be entered in the app)
- Clean the camera lens
- Clean the security label
- Scan again with another smartphone
If it still doesn’t work, let us know. We will check it out. Technical complications are rare. In such cases, you are redirected to our app after the scan to scan the code again.
Important note: We can only guarantee that the respective oil is an original if the QR code is intact.

Our technology is based on unique product identifiers and real-time verification. So you can rely on the result – provided the camera and label are intact.
We are gradually converting our oils to the new QR code with a green frame. During the transition phase, oils with both the old and the new codes are therefore in circulation. Oils without a green frame simply cannot yet be verified using the new digital authenticity check.
Only the new QR code with a green frame supports immediate digital verification. Oils with the previous code can still be checked – please use our contact form for this purpose. Our team will review the case as soon as possible and get back to you.
