Outstandingly sustainable: LIQUI MOLY wins Sustainability Award 2025

LIQUI MOLY was able to celebrate a special success at this year’s PARTSLIFE Congress in Hamburg: Our innovative “Bag-in-Box” packaging concept was awarded the Sustainability Award 2025! This recognition shows that environmental protection and everyday workshop life are not mutually exclusive – on the contrary: They can be connected intelligently.
With the Bag-in-Box concept, we have developed a sustainable alternative to the classic 20-litre plastic canister. The combination of recyclable plastic bag and sturdy cardboard packaging not only saves space and weight, but also reduces plastic consumption. The system was designed at the headquarters in Ulm and is particularly popular in the Nordic countries – where sustainable solutions are in high demand.
However, Bag-in-Box is more than just packaging: It is part of a holistic workshop concept that combines environmental responsibility with practical applicability. The benefits range from more efficient warehousing to easier handling and lower transport costs – a true win-win-win situation for customers, the environment and logistics.
