In the passenger car sector, vehicle manufacturers have been recommending the use of fuel additives for several years, especially in the event of starting problems or uneven engine running.

This general recommendation for the use of additives is now also given by motorcycle manufacturers such as BMW: "Fuel additives clean the fuel injection and the combustion area. Fuel additives should be used when refueling with low-quality fuels or for longer idle times," says an excerpt from the BMW R1300GS operator’s manual.

An engine oil flush using Motorbike Engine Flush removes deposits and combustion residues from the engine, thereby helping to improve engine performance. It is added to the engine oil, which is at operating temperature, before an oil change. Whilst the engine is left to idle for 10 minutes, the additive ensures that deposits and combustion residues are loosened, particularly from the piston rings. The deposits are then drained off with the used oil during the oil change. As a result, the piston rings – now largely free of deposits – can once again seal the combustion chambers much more effectively. Compression and running performance are also improved. All other components in the engine oil circuit also benefit, as the engine oil reaches the cleaned lubrication points unhindered and in the ideal quantity, thereby helping to counteract engine wear more effectively.
