The lubricant specialist is changing the classification of its motor oils for motorcycles

All Motorbike motor oils that are currently classified as HC or synthetic technology will be changed to “Advanced Full Synthetic”.

This helps to communicate the benefits of the oils even more clearly to customers and partners worldwide and to make them more comparable in the market. Oliver Kuhn, deputy head of LIQUI MOLY's oil laboratory, explains: “Advanced Full Synthetic oils use state-of-the-art base oils and additive technology for best performance and deliver a comprehensive solution. Of course, also with the new classification it’s guaranteed that customers can rely on the outstanding properties of our formulations. As before, the motor oils fulfill the special demands of JASO approvals in terms of transmission lubrication for best protection, long-term stability respectively viscosity stability and clutch suitability.”

The change of classification affects LIQUI MOLY’s 4T Motorbike oils for Street and Offroad applications as well as 4T Scooter oils.

Article numbers will change. Product catalogs and technical information as well as sales materials will be revised.
