LIQUI MOLY remains the principal sponsor of the Intact GP Team

The German manufacturer of premium-quality lubricants, motor oils and additives is extending its partnership with the Intact GP motorcycle team for a further five years ahead of schedule.

LIQUI MOLY has been on board since the first hour of the Moto2 racing team from Memmingen in 2013. This year, the collaboration is already entering its tenth season. The global brand has been the main sponsor of the LIQUI MOLY Intact GP team since 2020. This alliance has now been extended one year ahead of schedule by a further five years up to and including 2027, to the great pleasure of the entire teams of Intact GP and LIQUI MOLY. The lubricant company from Ulm is the official supplier for the world championship categories Moto2 and Moto3. There, the motor oils from Ulm ensure the best performance on the race track. And it is precisely these motor oils that LIQUI MOLY sells via its partners to customers and motorcyclists for their road motorbikes.
Peter Baumann, Marketing Director at the lubricant specialist, explains: “As a reliable brand ambassador, the LIQUI MOLY Intact GP team is on the road worldwide and present in the media. This high profile supports our business and sales partners. The positive image of the racing series and the team greatly helps in generating sales with our products. Thanks to its involvement in motorcycle racing around the world, LIQUI MOLY is a term that stands for the very highest quality through testing on the race track. Motorcyclists are looking specifically for the oil that the drivers use in racing and, in this way, find our partners.”
By sponsoring the Intact GP team, the Ulm-based company relies on local cooperation with the racing team from Memmingen. Günter Hiermaier, Managing Director of LIQUI MOLY, says: “The cooperation with Intact GP, which is now entering its tenth year, has helped us to expand our business with two-wheeler products internationally during this time: Not least for this reason, it was an easy decision for us to enter into an early agreement on a further long-term cooperation.”
