Remedial use Unclip the fuel pipe and immerse the end in the Diesel Purge. Close the fuel return pipe or feed that into the Diesel Purge. Start the engine and allow the engine to run at different speeds with the Diesel Purge unmixed. After the cleaning process, assemble the vehicle's system. In extreme cases, repeat the cleaning procedure if necessary.
The Diesel Purge by LiquiMoly is a really great product. The cetane level is high enough to be able to start the engine on that alone. When changing fuel filters I will fill them with Purge, prime the system and start the truck. There is a noticably audible difference with how my truck sounds and runs afterward. It picks up some lost power and smooths out the idle. All things considered, one of the only products that does what it touted to do, and is worth the extra step during the process
