Fluorescent, fully synthetic air conditioning oil based on polyalkylene glycol. Is highly compatible and miscible with R134a. Not suitable for refrigerant circuits that are filled with R1234yf refrigerant and not for hybrid and electric vehicles with electrically driven compressors. Fulfills the requirements of major refrigerant compressor manufacturers. Corresponds to ISO VG class 100 in accordance with DIN 51519.
For air conditioning systems filled with R134a. It is used to lubricate, seal and cool the sliding and rotating parts in the refrigerant circuit.
This oil is used to replenish the factory-installed refrigerant oil during repairs. It is also used when refilling the air conditioning systems of passenger and commercial vehicles using refrigerant type R134a. Note the vehicle or compressor manufacturer’s instructions.
Application
To top up or replace the refrigerant oil in passenger or commercial vehicle air conditioning systems, it is poured into the special filling cylinder and then added to the refrigerant circuit via the air conditioning system filling device. If there is a leak in the refrigerant circuit, the refrigerant lines of the vehicle can be examined using a UV lamp in a dark room. The UV light will render the yellow fluorescent color in the PAG oil escaping at the leak visible.Important:
After use, always reseal the oil to prevent it from absorbing moisture from the ambient air. PAG air conditioning oils must not be mixed or disposed of with waste oil of known origin, e.g. motor and transmission oils. PAG air conditioning oils must be collected separately and disposed of in accordance with the waste code (see safety data sheet). Store the container in a dry place and keep it tightly closed.
