LIQUI MOLY Launches Local Motor Oil Production in the USA for Domestic and Asian Applications

The lubricant specialist will offer additional formulations tailored to heavy-duty vehicles and both American and Asian car models.

LIQUI MOLY’s new production in the USA serves the US aftermarket with new additional formulations tailored to heavy-duty vehicles and both Domestic and Asian car models, at first in bulk containers (symbolic image).

LIQUI MOLY is thrilled to announce the start of a local motor oil production in the United States. This new step allows the company to serve American customers quicker and with more flexibility while maintaining the trusted German quality they know and love.

The new US production is specifically designed to provide extra capacity only for the US aftermarket, allowing LIQUI MOLY to offer new additional formulations tailored to heavy-duty vehicles and both American and Asian car models right here on US soil. The oils are available in 55-gallon drums, 265-gallon totes und up to 6,500-gallon bulk tankers. Soon also 1l and 5l canisters will be filled.

These new LIQUI MOLY formulations are produced to the company’s exceeding standards, where quality is always controlled by the headquarters in Germany. “Our valued customers can rely on the same performance, protection, and reliability they’ve come to expect”, emphasized Sebastian Zelger, CEO of LIQUI MOLY USA.

It's important to note that the current product portfolio with LIQUI MOLY’s well-known oils will continue to be produced in Germany as usual. Long time US and Canadian customers can be ensured they will continue to receive the current product portfolio as they always have in the past.

“By blending locally, we gain the advantage of quicker delivery times and reduced transport costs from Europe, making our operations more flexible and responsive to local demand. We’re excited to provide our partners and customers with a new tool in the toolbox that helps us serve the market better”, said Sebastian Zelger. LIQUI MOLY motor oils from the new US production are now available to the market.
