Welcome to LIQUI MOLY StarLigue!

From 1 July 2021, the French D1 mens' championship has the name of its main partner. The competition is now called the "LIQUI MOLY StarLigue".

Last December, the French National Handball League (Ligue Nationale de Handball, LNH) announced a naming agreement with LIQUI MOLY, the German manufacturer of engine oils, lubricants and additives. Against this background, yesterday the League unveiled the new identity of its elite championship.

David Tebib, the Chairman of the LNH: "Together with LIQUI MOLY, we’re going to be writing a new page in the history of men's professional handball. We are honored by the confidence that LIQUI MOLY’s has placed in us. It also puts a great responsibility on our shoulders: to effectively support the business development in the French market of a premium brand that is seeking recognition and empathy, both among professionals and the general public. »

Ernst Prost, CEO of LIQUI MOLY: "Our collaboration with the LNH is an important part of establishing brand awareness. In the same way that the StarLigue is known in the world of professional handball, LIQUI MOLY stands for top performance for engine oils, additives and vehicle maintenance.
