Repair your bike quickly & easily

#Bicycle

Whether on everyday rides or longer tours: It’s cycling season, and breakdowns can happen at any time. To ensure you are well prepared, we show you some simple tricks to get your bike back on the road in no time.

Quick fix for a flat bicycle tire

There may be thorns, loose stones or gravel on paths and roads at any time. This increases the likelihood of punctures. Our Bike Tire Fix offers practical first aid for on the go. It seals punctured tyres and inner tubes without the need to remove the wheel, allowing you to continue your journey safely home or to the nearest workshop.

  • Seals flat tires without having to remove the wheel
  • Works quickly and reliably
  • Ideal for on the go
  • Gets you to the nearest workshop

Use:

  1. Remove the cause of the puncture (e.g. nail, screw) if possible
  2. Turn the wheel to bring valve to 12 o'clock position and fully deflate tire
  3. Shake the can vigorously
  4. Screw the connector vertically onto the valve
  5. Empty the can completely
  6. Wipe off excess agent on the valve
  7. Adjust the air pressure and immediately drive a few meters to spread the foam
  8. A tight plug forms after approx. 10 minutes
  9. If necessary, top up the air from time to time

Note: The tire should then be checked and permanently repaired at a bike workshop.

When screws no longer grip – the quick solution

It’s not just tires that can cause problems on the road. Screws can also come loose over time and lead to difficulties. Whilst cycling, it can easily happen that mudguards, saddles or brackets come loose and a screw needs tightening. If the screw heads are slippery or already slightly damaged, your tool often no longer grips reliably.

Our Screw Grip offers effective and immediate help in such situations. It improves the adhesion between the tool and the screw. This allows you to quickly and easily retighten or remove loose screws yourself on the go – even if the screw head is difficult to grip.

  • Restores grip to worn screw heads
  • Provides a secure connection between tool and screw
  • Works immediately, without hardening
  • Can be wiped clean without residue
  • Can also be used upside down
  • Suitable for all common screw types (slotted, cross, hex, Allen, multipoint, Torx)

Use:

  1. Knead tube well before use
  2. Put a drop in or around the damaged bolt head
  3. Position the tool carefully and move it slightly so that the crystals interlock
  4. Effortlessly loosen or tighten the screw

The quick bike check

Before your first ride, it’s a good idea to give your bike a quick check-up – this ensures everything is in working order and you’re ready to go.

  • Check the tires: Make sure there is enough air in the tire and that there is no visible damage that could affect your trip.
  • Check the brakes: Ensure that the front and rear brakes grip cleanly and that the brake pads are still in good condition.
  • Check the bolts: Be sure that the handlebars, front end and saddle are secure and that nothing wobbles.
  • Check the lights: Make sure that the lights are working – for battery-powered lights, it’s best to fully charge the batteries straight away.
