Rims are one of the heavily stressed parts of a vehicle. Dust, mud, gravel and, in the cold season, road salt: dirt is accumulated with every trip. In everyday life, “alloys” have to endure a lot, which affects their appearance. More treacherous is fine, black brake dust. It is deposited particularly on the surfaces of the front rims, where it then burns permanently into the rim surface when exposed to high temperatures during braking. The new Premium Rim Cleaner from LIQUI MOLY intensively cleans alloy wheels. “We chose a gel because it adheres better and longer to the surface and has a more intensive effect than a liquid rim cleaner,” says the Head of Development. Although the new product relentlessly tackles all kinds of dirt, it is extremely gentle on sensitive materials such as chrome, magnesium, nickel and silicon. The new Rim Cleaner is also premium in this respect, because it is acid-free and pH-neutral. 

Also outstanding: the fast reaction time, regardless of the outside temperature. The Premium Wheel Cleaner takes just 3 to 5 minutes to remove dirt that conventional cleaners with longer exposure times cannot handle. The integrated dirt indicator makes it easy to use. When the gel has turned purple, the optimum effect has been achieved, and it can be washed off.
