Technical Advisor– UK (M/F/D)
Within the context of our positive global sales development, we are currently extending our UK team. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced Technical Advisor to join our team as soonas possible. The Technical Advisor combines engineeringexpertise with commercial acumen to support the sale of automotive products, systems, or services. This role involves understanding complex technical requirements, designing solutions, and working closely with customers and the team to deliver value-driven outcomes while achieving sales targets.
Your area of activity:
- Providing optimal technical advice and support to our team,
partners and customers in the UK - Carrying out internal and external technical product training
for sales partners and customers in theory and practice in
the UK - Providing technical advice at international and trade fairs in
the region - Advising our sales staff and distribution partners on the
optimum product range composition - Practical product tests and demonstrations
- Bridge the gap between deep technical concepts and
business strategy. - Ensure alignment between customer expectations and
internal teams. - Monitor project milestones, timelines, and technical
deliverables.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Technical Advisor or Technical Sales
Engineer role within the automotive sector. - Possess technical chemistry/engineering knowledge with
customer-facing support. - Enjoy intensive customer contact
- Good PC and MS Office skills
- Very good written and spoken English skills are essential.
(Further foreign language skills are an advantage) - High degree of willingness to travel
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (both
technical and non-technical audiences). - Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Customer-focused with relationship-building strength.
- Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven.
