It was a long season for Tan, who was flying all over the world for most of the year, competing in multiple series.
It all came down to the final race in Sebring, FL. She and her team were just 6 points in the lead going in, and they knew they would need a strong finish to bring home the hardware. After a long race marred by bad weather, even severe enough to cause a delay in the race at one point, the team erupted with joy and celebration as the 2nd place spot was secured as they drove through the finish line.
With the finish they secured SIX Championships for the season.

Samantha had this to say after the victory:
“What a season! This was our first ever endurance series, and initially, our main goal was to just gain experience and help the team get adjusted. To finish this season with 4 wins, 7 podiums, and 8 consecutive pole positions feels surreal. There were ups and downs this season, as in all of racing, but we continued to push through and work hard until the end. I am beyond happy to share these wins with my team, and I can’t thank them enough for their efforts this year! We won every single championship title we were eligible for, a feat that not many teams can share. On top of that, I also won the Junior Cup and Ladies Cup!
I’d like to give a big thank you to BMW Motorsport, LIQUI MOLY, HRX, and Endless for partnering with us, we couldn’t have achieved this success without you!
We are excited for the future and can’t wait to make history again."
It looks like the Tan family has a lot to be thankful for this month, and they’re probably going to need a new trophy case to accommodate all of the new hardware!
