From trophy trucks, to utvs, to the quads and bikes, everyone was challenged during the two day race. It was a great week, with the event starting out with an amazing qualifying track that offered a little bit of everything. There were steep hills, tight turns, rocks, silt, much like the race course. Day 1 brought excitement, as the drivers and riders roared through the start line across the flat desert at over 100mph. The second day was equally as exciting. From our vantage point at the podium, we could see them tearing around the mountain, huge clouds of dust trailing them, racing full throttle toward the finish line. Their faces showed both relief and satisfaction, even those of veteran drivers like off-road racing legend Rob MacCachren, having conquered the course and made it. The series has been great so far. Every driver we talk to has been very vocal about how much fun it has been to work with the race organizers and how well put together the series is. The team at Legacy are clearly versed in organization and put on a platfrom that shows incredible promise. We look forward to watching this series, and this partnership, grow over the next several years. There will be 2 more Legacy Off-Road events in its inaugural season. And you can bet we’ll be there!
