Dream result at the TCR Asia

It could hardly have gone any better for the LIQUI MOLY Team Engstler in Shanghai. At the penultimate race weekend of the TCR Asia the drivers of the LIQUI MOLY Team Engstler Kantadhee Kusiri and Diego Moran were able to finish in 1st and 2nd position in both runs.

Kurt Treml, Sport Director of LIQUI MOLY Team Engstler:

"Our two drivers, along with the entire team, really did great work this weekend. I am very happy that we are at the top again in both standings of the TCR Asia, as we want to defend our title from last year."

Kusiri won in both runs of the TCR Asia in Shanghai and his team colleague Moran came in second both times. The team had perfectly prepared the Golf GTI TCR for both drivers so that they dominated the field from the very first outing.

"We had a clear goal for this race weekend and every single member of the team worked hard towards it. We wanted to take back the lead in both standings and we managed this together as a team."

In the driver standing Kusiri is currently level on points with another driver in first place, followed by his team colleague Moran, who is trailing by 4 points. The LIQUI MOLY Team Engstler has a 31-point lead in the driver standing.

The season finale takes place on October 6 to 8 in China. The goal here will be to further extend the lead in both standings in order to secure the title of TCR Asia for the LIQUI MOLY Team Engstler once again this year.
