What an ingenious play on words: ten-sational. Everything in it - sensational and the ten. Ten times in a row, without interruption, we were voted to Germany's best lubricant brand. Not by selected experts, but by the people we serve everyday in other words, the automobile drivers, that's the real spectacle. Many thanks to all those who have remained loyal to us, over such a long period of time. It is also great that we have slowly but surely moved up to second place for cleaning products. There is more to come!

If the word sustainable applies to anything it applies to our work style, with a big heart and a great sense of responsibility for society and our country. Therefore we decided to provide Liqui Moly products worth 1 million € free of charge to emergency services, hospitals and fire brigades. Engine oils for ambulance vehicles, but also additives to maintain the function of the emergency power generators, which are needed to operate respirators in case of an emergency. We are already implementing this idea in other countries for the benefit of their local health system.

All of you know that I'm not a friend of pride but an ardent practitioner of humility and gratitude, however this fills me with the same - the pride of our joint work, not only over the last decade but over three decades in which I together with many loyal companions have served this company. Many other leaders have held the helm at teen companies in the same span of time... Continuity and consequently performance & success can only grow out of stable conditions. Job-hopping is not a warrant of success. We deal with customers in the second if not even in the third generation of ownership, this to creates trust and predictability. Dealing with us they know where they stand and what they can expect. Sometimes we surprises our customers - but only with positives - well, that's most of the times :-) ...

Especially in times like these, when the economy is on the ground, we need revitalization measures. The government is already giving its best, namely the tax we pay .... but credits and cash do not replace profits from a thriving business. This is what we are trying to do: to support the company, the whole system, the supply chains, our customers, the dealers, the workshops, simply everyone in any way we can. It's amazing - I always thought that we are already doing what is possible for our customers and country but there is always more to do and it always done in a different way as before during this crisis, as new tasks arise from social responsibility and new opportunities develop. We want to make use of these opportunities and at the same time do even more. Don't close the company and don't wait for state assistance. We are still in the fortunate position of being able to continue to exist on our own and we must use this strength to support people and companies as best we can. 

Even though we are not selling much at the moment we can and need to use the time wisely: We inform, call and train (via internet courses) and therefore develop knowledge and thus new possibilities for ourselves and our customers. I think anyone who uses the time wisely will have a significant competitive advantage in the weeks and months to come and that is what it is all about! But more important then the business world is our social responsibility for the people - because the economy has to serve the people and not the other way around.
