Technical Sales Specialist (M/F/D) – Latin America and Caribbean Territories

Since 1957 we have supplied the German market place with innovative quality oil and additive products for the automotive, powersports, marine, heavy duty and industrial markets. Today we reach over 130 countries with our 4000+ available products in our portfolio. LIQUI MOLY currently seeks a bilingual candidate (Spanish/English) to sell and train our business partners in select Latin American and Caribbean territories.

The ideal candidate will be required to live in either Florida or Texas. Join our team and you will work with people who are positive about the future and upbeat about life. In this position, you will take an active part in the technical sales and training process to grow sales for LIQUI MOLY in the automotive, powersports/marine and heavy duty/agriculture markets. Throughout the regions, the technical sales specialist will be responsible to sell, training and promote LIQUI MOLY products in the Regions This job provides a competitive salary D.O.E., plus bonus. Also included are travel expense reimbursement, laptop computer, cell phone, home internet expense, 401K plan, health insurance, paid vacation and holidays.

* This position is home-office based that requires the employee to be a US citizen and live in Florida or Texas near a major airport with flight service to Latin America and the Caribbean. Relocation assistance not available.

Your area of activity:

  • Develop sales strategies and technical training processes in all product sectors that are relevant to each market. Powersports training and selling a PLUS.
  • Build relationships with business owners at all levels of distribution. E.g. - distributors, parts stores, service shops, fleets, marinas etc.
  • Technically train current distributor partners in all relevant product types and segments.
  • Technically train repair shops and users in all relevant products for their business needs.
  • Develop new trade partners through prospect networking to increase market share sales.
  • Attend and promote LIQUI MOLY products at regional and local trade shows and events.
  • Both positions will be US based and cover assigned Latin American markets and the Caribbean markets.


  • Must be fluent/bilingual in Spanish and English
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in field sales management - Preferably in transportation lubricant products. (Powersports knowledge a PLUS)
  • Responsible to use a CRM tool on a daily basis; submit daily / weekly reports
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset in developing accounts in a consultative manner
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with an upbeat selling style and energetic attitude
  • Be able to travel up to 14 days at a time
  • Travel is estimated to be a minimum of 100 days per year
  • Efficient time management and exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to influence and negotiate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have solid presentation abilities to customers and to group audiences

Must haves:

  • Clear a background check
  • Valid and clean driver license record
  • Ability to use MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point)
