Geneva: A Close Look at Motor Fluids

LIQUI MOLY and its Swiss co-operation partner RHIAG participate in the Geneva Motor Show

Ulm, March 8, 2010 – For the third year the German motor oil expert LIQUI MOLY and its Swiss co-operation partner RHIAG participate in the Geneva Motor Show. On nearly 2500 square feet in exhibition hall 7 in booth 7034 both companies show more than only products.

“We are practically demonstrating how to solve problems”, says Volker Gernth, Export Area Manager at LIQUI MOLY. All relevant products, promotional support at the point of sale and recent innovations are shown. “At prepared car body parts we explain the application and the advantages of our adhesion and sealing compounds”, says André Laubacher, product manager LIQUI MOLY at the RHIAG group. In addition people can see the way additives work. And with dry ice the different viscosity of motor oil is visualized. Also visitors may try the online oil guide out. “Here they can familiarize themselves with this extremely useful tool”, Volker Gernth says.

A BMW WTCC racing car of the LIQUI MOLY Team Engstler is the eye-catcher at the booth, accompanied by a model. “Of course, people my take pictures”, says André Laubacher who altogether expects 10,000 photos during the motor show. A video shows the car performing in races. Thus LIQUI MOLY wants to increase brand awareness and acquire new customers. There are also six different sales promotions mainly targeted at workshops. “We have attractive add-ons like work clothes, product samples, and incentives like the radio controlled LIQUI MOLY-Engstler-BMW, foldable pavilions, and grills”, Laubacher says.
