LIQUI MOLY launching a new engine oil for commercial vehicles

Ulm. LIQUI MOLY’s TOP TEC Truck 4150 5W-30 is a latest-generation engine oil for commercial vehicles and another product in the TOP TEC range for cars and utility vehicles. Once again, the lubricant specialist has shown itself to be an expert in innovation.

The lubricant is a fully synthetic, all-season engine oil, combining the benefits of fuel economy with the requirements of exhaust gas after-treatment systems. The oil is suitable for diesel engines in commercial vehicles that are subjected to extreme stresses and that meet Euro IV and Euro V emission standards with exhaust gas after-treatment and particulate filters (DPF/CRT). TOP TEC Truck 4150 is backwards compatible and can also be used neat in some older commercial vehicles that meet emission standards Euro II and Euro III.

The blend of fully synthetic base oils and the latest additives guarantees outstanding fuel economy and far lower fuel consumption. Excellent wear protection, due to an extremely dependable lubricating film, and optimum engine cleanliness are also ensured, protecting the cylinder walls from bore-polishing, particularly during cold starts. Other benefits include first-class detergent and dispersant properties, a wide range of operating temperatures and excellent shear and ageing resistance. The lubricant also keeps the intercooler in immaculate condition.

LIQUI MOLY is currently one of the few manufacturers able to offer a combination of fuel-efficient and particulate filter oil. Many competitors only sell general lubricants with a cold viscosity of 10W for vehicles with DPFs. LIQUI MOLY enables commercial vehicles to change over to TOP TEC Truck 4150 5W-30 engine oil and save on fuel.

TOP TEC Truck 4150 5W-30 is available in 20-litre canisters, barrels of 60 or 205 litres and in bulk.
